The Race for the Arts has historically been one of our largest summer events, raising significant funds through the support of sponsors and families of current and former campers at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts.

Funds raised through this event are dedicated to college scholarships for passionate students committed to careers in the arts who need last-chance funding. We offer these students a hand up rather than a handout.

A partnership with HFWAA provides an opportunity to reach our dynamic French Woods community of both young families and alumni. Sponsors of the HFWAA Race for the Arts gain exposure to more than 10,000 individuals worldwide who are connected to the French Woods Community on social media, online on our websites, and who receive our Camper and Alumni Edition Newsletter. Depending on their sponsorship level, sponsors may have their name or logo displayed on the Race for the Arts finish-line banner or wristband, featured on the back of our commemorative T-shirt, or included on an individual mile-marker sign, among other benefits.

Every race participant receives a wristband, and a donation of $35 or more includes a commemorative Race T-shirt.

All donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
